Our Leadership

The Leadership of the JonFund is made up of a Board of Directors. These positions are currently held by the following individuals.

Bill McCarthy, President - Although trained as a machinist Bill owns and operates an automotive specialty shop . He has been involved in organized 4 wheeling for nearly 20 years and loves the out doors. Some of his other hobbies are fishing , boating and antique clock repair.

Daniel Glasow, Vice President - Daniel Glasow brings with him a wealth of experience and business acumen which he has developed over the years while working with both national and multi-national corporations in the design field. He also has experience as the Public Relations point person for Fairfield County Sports Car Club and BNI (Business Network International/New Haven Chapter).

His passion for those activities that involve the great outdoors brought him to 4 wheeling when he bought his first Jeep. Along with 4 wheeling he is an avid camper, hiker, and mountain biker. Daniels goal is to apply his experience towards the continued improvement of the JonFund. He is committed to maintaining or exceeding the high standards for the JonFund that were established by those who served in leadership before him.

Art Triggs, Membership Director - Art has been a member of JonFund since 2002, and has been wheeling to some degree or another since 1992, in various 4x4's and 2wd vehicles... At first to get to various favorite hunting and fishing spots, now just to have some fun travelling a bumpy dirt road someplace. Currently he drives a well used 1996 XJ. Art is also a Tread Lightly "Tread Trainer", member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition, United 4wd Assocation and NAXJA. He has had several diverse careers; in Music, Photography,the Printing Industry, as a Firearms instructor, and is now working with a publishing company as a systems admin. He is also the Jonfund Webmaster

Mike White, Trails Director - Mike White drives a 1992 XJ locked, low and simple and has been wheeling since 1996. He's active in the NEA4WD and the local wheeling community. Mike supports Tread Lightly! wheeling techniques wherever possible. He has been active in the JonFund Trail Command System since 2004/2005 and is constantly scouting out and researching the trails we use. His focus as Trails Director is new trails and events for our club, in addition to preserving the use and traditions of our favorites.
